Data we process

AI providers and your choice

The app requests explicit AI data-sharing permission on first opening after installation or updating to this consent flow, before sending prompts or photos for AI processing. This choice covers the providers and uses described here and is saved for this installation; it is not requested before every image. You can decline and continue browsing existing images, or change and withdraw permission in Account → AI data sharing. Withdrawal prevents future AI requests; it cannot undo completed processing. Adding a new provider or materially changing data use requires a revised disclosure and consent. Text prompts are prepared on our API server. The selected provider receives prompts and, for photo packs, the normalized photo reference. Only the selected provider receives that request; a failure does not transfer it to another provider. Production generation does not fall back to Pollinations.

BFL/FLUX may retain inputs and outputs and use them to improve or train its services under its terms. OpenAI processes requests through its API using Luna and an image-generation model; we disable response storage with store=false and send a pseudonymous safety identifier derived from your account ID, without your email or raw account ID. OpenAI states that API data is not used for training by default. Its abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days, with safety/legal exceptions described in its policies. Disabling response storage does not eliminate those logs. Do not submit confidential information or photos you lack permission to use. Decline or withdraw AI data sharing to prevent future transfers; you can still browse existing images. We do not create biometric identification templates or sell your data.

Device permissions and sharing

We use the system photo picker for the photo you select. Saving to Photos requires your permission. Sharing and WhatsApp export happen only when you request them. Copies you save or send to other apps remain under your control and those apps' policies. This release does not enable optional PostHog analytics or Sentry crash reporting, advertising IDs, advertising or cross-app tracking.

Retention, security and deletion

Account records and saved generations are retained until you delete your account. Choose Account → Delete account in the app, or use our account deletion page. Account deletion removes your email, password hash, sessions, prompts, generated files, favourites, usage history and reports from the live service. A minimal cleanup record (internal ID and file paths) is retained while file and RevenueCat deletion requests finish; it is removed on successful completion. If a processor is unavailable, cleanup is retried. Contact us for the status of a pending request. Provider-managed AI data is subject to the linked policies; deleting an account cannot undo model training already performed by a provider.

Deleted data may remain in restricted infrastructure backups for up to 30 days until the deployment backup rotation completes. Such copies are not available through the app or used for generation. Contact us to exercise access, correction or deletion rights. Stores may retain transaction records for their own legal obligations. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.

Connections to the production API and providers use HTTPS. Generated images require authentication. No system is completely secure. Data may be processed outside your country by the named providers. Emo-Jinn is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Do not submit photos or personal data about anyone under 18.
